1969 Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro L88 & ZL1 427-430HP factory aluminum heads casting number 3946074 with dates of 12-17-68 and 2-19-68 but I believe it is 2-19-69.  The one that is dated 2-19-69 does not have a casting number on it and just has a raised section where the number would have been cast.   The 12-17-68 does have some grinding around the outside and inside valve cover lip but I do not know why and should not affect a gasket match and is missing one winter snowflake.  These heads came off of a running engine and have smoothed intake and exhaust runners and have had some milling done as well.  The intake and exhaust ports have not been altered in size so gasket matching should not be a problem.  Any questions I can be reached at 330-770-2517.
