GM 4346 carb core dated 974 or 1969 July 4th week for a later Camaro Chevelle Nova Impala 396-375 or COPO 427-425. Carb was sitting on shelf and fell breaking rear bowl vent. Missing piece comes with purchase and can be easily repaired. Also missing PCV hose tube. Complete original carb with good baseplate and correct metering blocks 5583 and 4519. Cadillac issues XTS recall over fire risk

Cadillac is recalling approximately 63,900 XTS sedans over an issue with the brake booster pump. The company believes that the brake booster pump can create positive pressure inside the wiring harness which is attached to the pump relay, and this pressure can dislodge a cavity plug in the relay and allow corrosive elements to enter the connector, creating a resistive short. Cadillac believes that this could lead to overheating and melting of plastic components, and may cause a fire in the engine compartment.

General Motors to invest more than $850 million to build new V8s

General Motors Co. said Tuesday it will invest more than $850 million to upgrade five North American factories to make its next-generation V8 engines more fuel efficient. The new V8s will differ from the current versions by using direct injection and a new combustion system, spokeswoman Sharon Basel said.
