IM SELLING THE COMPLETE MOTOR I WAS SAVEING TO BUILD A RAT ROD. IT WAS IN  THIS JET BOAT MY FRIEND FROM MICHIGAN HAD BUILT  IT IS A 1969 CORVETTE BLOCK 454  STEEL CRANK 4 BOLT MAIN  IT HAD STOCK 450 HP  IT WAS THE HIGHEST RATED MOTOR IN 1969 I WILL CALL  HOME WHERE THE MOTOR IS LOCATED IN FLORIDA AT MY WINTER HOME AND UPDATE THE LISTING WITH BETTER PIC,S AND THE SERIAL # OF THE MOTOR AND THE HEADS ,I HAD THEM AND LOST THE PAPER . I WILL UPDATE. THIS MOTOR HAD SUPER LOW HOURS AND AS YOU SEE I PULLED IT FROM THE BOAT BEFORE SELLING THE BOAT. IT HAS TO MUCH TO LIST IT WAS ALL BALANCED AND ALL HI PERFORMANCE OPTIONS  WHEN BUILT FOR THE BOAT. IT WAS ON A DINO AND MY FRIEND  TELLS ME IT HAD 672 HP . I PULLED ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO AND AS YOU SEE IT IS ON A STAND IN THE GARAGE. . I HATE TO SELL THIS I WAS HOPEING TO BUILD A RAT ROD FOR THIS BEAST OF A MOTOR .  BUT  AS TIME GO,S I WILL NEVER GET TO IT SO IM SELLING SO SOMEONE CAN HAVE A GREAT RUNNING SUPER FAST MOTOR .  THIS WAS IN A JET  IT COMES WITH THE FLYWHEEL AND ALL YOU SEE FROM STARTER TO THE DUEL CARBS . I RAN THIS IN THE BOAT 8 MONTHS BACK THE BOAT WAS CLOCKED AT 84 MPH  THE MOTOR WAS ONLY RAN A SMALL TIME BEING IT WAS IN FLORIDA AND MY FRIEND CAME TO FLORIDA FROM MICHIGAN ONLY 3 MONTHS A YEAR .   THE CARBS WILL NEED REBUILDING DO TO SITTING  . THIS IS A GREAT RUNNING COMPLETE MOTOR I WAS SAVEING FOR MY SELF  FOR A RAT ROD. I STILL HATE TO SELL BUT DO NOT SEE ME GETTING IT DONE..  SELLING FOR $4000 OR BEST OFFER THE COMPLETE MOTOR AS YOU SEE IT.. CCS students tackle GM project

Seniors studying Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan, have recently completed a project with General Motors that has been underway since late 2009. General Motors challenged the students to design an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) that focused on the brand identity of Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet, utilized the EREV components, and optimized aerodynamic attributes. Design features that incorporated sustainability materials and efficiency were also considered important components of the design development.

Bentley & Audi to share new V8 – the end of the W12?

The Bentley Continental GT V8 will share an engine with Audi When we reported on the reveal of the new 2011 Bentley Continental GT, we noted that Bentley had plans to launch a V8 version  of the Conti sometime next year. What we didn’t get was too much information from Bentley on the new V8, except the little nugget that the V8 going in to the Bentley would be Audi sourced. Which makes sense.
