The latch has never been installed but does have some surface rust in small areas. The part number tag is brittle and is coming off. Peugeot 2008 DKR (pictured) gets 340 bhp turbo diesel to fight the Dakar Rally The days of Peugeot’s motorsport activities being integral to the brand’s identity are long gone, but Peugeot are still playing motorsports with a few headline grabbing projects like Sebastian Loeb’s Pikes Peak car. But Peugeot’s motorsport activities at the moment are extending a bit further than hitting Pikes Peak (and the Goodwood hillclimb) in a monstrous Peugeot 208 T16, and a 2008 to take on the Dakar Rally was revealed back in April. Then, we got to see the Peugeot 2008 DKR in all its Mad Max glory, but Peugeot were being a bit circumspect about what was underneath their Apocalypse-taming Rally Raid Monster.

New Denza EV brand to be launched by Daimler-BYD joint venture

Mercedes-Benz sources have confirmed that Daimler and BYD Auto's Chinese joint venture is set to launch Denza, a new zero-emissions brand. The first Denza will be unveiled at next month's Beijing motor show and is based on the underpinnings of the first-generation Mercedes-Benz B-Class W245. The car's design is believed to have been undertaken by Daimler's Advanced Design Center in Beijing, led by Olivier Boulay.

Designer Paul Smith launches exhibition

DESIGN GURU Sir Paul Smith has given a glimpse into his world with a re-creation of his office forming part of a new exhibition dedicated to his work. The fashion star takes centre-stage at the Design Museum in London for the next four months with items from his vast archive on display. Sir Paul was at the launch today, posing alongside colourful life-size cardboard cut-outs and showing off sketches, designs and other paraphernalia from his lengthy career as one of Britain's best-known creative forces.
