For auction is a pair (r & l) carbs for a Honda SL350 K0. These carbs are in good shape both internally and externally. They will undoubtedley need service because of their age, but are clean inside and out. The black exteriors will need some touch-up, but are much better than most. One float is missing (gave it to a friend). They will need new diaphragms and the drain screw on the rightside bowl has been stripped and repaired and in my opinion should be replaced because of a poor repair that made things worse, but it can probably be repaired. The tops have some rust on the chrome. Good carbs are hard to get and these are excellent cores.

Good luck!

Mullin Museum 'opens,' still no public date

Fri, 16 Apr 2010

The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif., "opened" Thursday night with a gala Art Deco affair that did splendid justice to the beautiful cars, photos and furniture inside. Models dressed in period costume with period 'dos draped themselves over what are arguably the world's most beautiful Bugattis, Delages, Delahayes, Talbot-Lagos, Voisins and Hispano-Suizas. Similarly clad guests strolled about the perfect period decor, perfect right down to the Art Deco pillars holding up the ecologically friendly roof.

And to celebrate that fact, Bugatti has had a bit of a get together of Veyron owners to play with pre-production cars in Cannes this weekend, which also gives them the excuse to release some new images of the Grand Sport. Apart from Limited Edition Veyrons (like the Veyron Bleu Centenaire or the Veyron L’Edition Centenaire) the Veyron Grand Sport will be the mainstay of production from now on.

Chicago auto show: Ford Transit Connect van targets businesses

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

The demise of the Freestar (more commonly remembered as the Windstar) minivan left Ford without a small cargo carrier it could pitch to business and fleet customers who didn't need the hugeness of the E-series van. That gap in the product lineup gets filled this summer with the front-drive Transit Connect van--a product Ford has been selling in European and Asian markets for six years. Ford rolls out the U.S.
