Volkswagen to unveil one-seat electric car
Tue, 23 Aug 2011Volkswagen will unveil a one-seat experimental car with an electric powertrain in September as the carmaker works to cut emissions and develop future driving concepts. The concept vehicle will be designed for limited journeys, VW spokeswoman Ruth Holling said Monday, confirming remarks by VW research chief Juergen Leohold to the Financial Times. So if Jaguar are going to compete in the big league they’re going to have to tap in to Land Rover’s expertise at some point and come up with their own Crossover (NOT a Jaguar SUV, as Ian Callum made clear).
