This is an original 1969 BMW confidential ‘salesman only’ brochure. It is 8” X 8”, has 32 pages & is in mint condition. It is meant to give the salesman all the information he needs to sell the new 1969 BMW 2500, 2800 & 2800 CS models. It shows pictures of the 2500, 2800 & 2800 CS & covers many of the specs & features of each. It then compares them to the Audi 100LS, the Saab 99, the Volvo 164, the Mercedes 250 & the Mercedes 280SE & points out the problems & weaknesses of these models as compared to the BMW models. We couldn’t conceive why a struggling Italian design firm like Bertone would take a punt on designing a new Jaguar, so we assumed that Jaguar must have quietly commissioned it. Otherwise Bertone would have to be a bit barking to try and usurp Jaguar’s design team; a design team with as sure a touch as any in the industry.
Citizens Advice receives 84,000 used car complaints

But the Citizens Advice Bureau in fact received over 84,000 complaints about used cars during this period. Half of these faults developed within a month of purchase.

Wed, 03 Jun 2009New Renault Scenic prices announced for the UK Renault are making big play of how cheap the new Scenic is, saying it costs over £2,000 less than the Ford C-Max, and the new range starts at over £2,000 less than the old model. Which, in these constrained times, is not bad news at all. But the range of Scenic models and options is a little confusing, to say the least.
