Mon, 15 Aug 2011Lotus will show the most sporting, toughest Evora yet - the GTE Road Car Concept - at the 2011 Pebble Beach car show this week. As the name implies, it's borne out of the Evora GTE race programme, which sees Lotus's mid-engined 2+2 compete at races across the globe, culminating in the 24-hour race at Le Mans. Once an entirely independent course, it is now more closely aligned with the Design School's highly regarded Industrial Design program. This year, 16 students displayed a wide range of projects from traditional automotive designs through to more product design work as disparate as storage and even a publishing solution.
Mercedes start the tease for the 2014 S63 AMG
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Mercedes are teasing the arrival of the new S63 AMG (pictured) The 2014 Mercedes S Class has already made its debut, at least in ‘standard’ guise, but there’s a lot more to come. There’s the S-Class Coupe – which will replace the current CL – and there’s the new S-Class Pullman – which will replace the Maybach. But the next instalment for the new S-Class will be the performance S63 AMG, which we’re expecting to arrive at Frankfurt in a couple of months, and ahead of that Mercedes is starting to tease its arrival.
