Here is a GM NOS driver side quarter panel for a 1969 Camaro.  I had been saving this for years thinking I would need it at some point.  Fortunately I found a car that had solid original sheet metal and thus I am going to part with it.  I have had this panel for many years and it has been stored in my house.  This is Part Number 7779477.  The panel is in great shape with only some minor edp coating removed in a few spots.  I tried to get some good photos of the part but if you need different ones or have questions please feel free to ask.  I would prefer not to ship this as I would hate to see it get damaged by some freight company.  That said I am listing them as pick up only.  If bought and paid for I could bring it to the Auto Fair in Charlotte in September.  If you choose to have it shipped I can build a crate at your cost and directions and let them off at the shipping depot of your choice.  All crate materials and shipping charges would be your responsibility.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to buy original sheet metal if you are building that dream car.  Thanks for looking.

I've got them listed locally in Charlotte as well.

New Hyundai Test Centre at the Nurburgring revealed

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Hyundai’s new test centre at the Nurburgring If anyone had said, just a few years ago, that Hyundai would develop a test centre at the Nurburgring to help shake-down their cars, they’d have been laughed at. But Hyundai – and Kia – have come so far in recent years that it makes absolute sense for them to develop a full-time testing facility at the Nurburgring to test their cars for the road, along with just about every other car maker of note. James May may object to the Nurburgring factor in the suspension set-ups of many road cars (and we do have some sympathy for his point of view), but the sometimes extreme nature of the Nurburgring’s surfaces – and its endless twists and turns, uphill and down – do offer car makers an easily accessible place to test cars in the (almost) real world.

Lexus LF-Gh Concept video preview

Thu, 14 Apr 2011

Lexus LF-Gh Concept - the video Lexus teased us with the LF-Gh Concept ahead of its debut at the New York Motor Show this month, and this week dropped a pile of LF-Gh photos and some outline information on us. And we were a bit dismissive. A bit dismissive because we were expecting/hoping for something more than a concept which points the way to the next generation GS, which is what we’ve actually got.

Kia GT at Frankfurt: It WILL go in to production

Tue, 13 Sep 2011

Kia GT at Frankfurt - will be going in to production We’ve been hugely impressed with the way Kia – and sister company Hyundai - has transformed in to a serious player in the car market. And now, having matched the Japanese in the mainstream market Kia, in particular, is looking to take things up a rung or three with the Kia GT. We praised the styling of the Kia GT when we saw the first photo, but we believed it was likely just a design exercise; a sort of ‘Look what we could do if there was a market for it’ kind of statement.
