“1969 Chevrolet New Products”

TRAINING PROGRAM BOOKLET

Did you know there was NEVER a rubber bumper on the Camaro called “ENDURA?”

That’s correct!….the optional RPO VE3 was called the HYPALON BUMPER , or urethane for short, and that is a fact, along with many other ones not found in Assembly Manuals of other GM publications.

Dated August 1968, this booklet  about the 1969 product line was primarily intended for the Chevrolet Training Programs at all GM Training Facilities. This one came from their South Jersey School. They only went to GM Dealers or the GM Instructional Schools and were not available to the general public. The inside cover even states this fact!

The flawless original has been sitting with other publications in a large legal envelope from GENERAL MOTORS, Flint, Michigan addressed to the school where the previous instructor taught from the late 50’s till it closed in late 90’s. This and many other were kept in old GM envelopes he collected. This is a professional reprint. This one even has the instructor’s own hand-written notes about certain topics.

There are loads of books out there that are not accurate or have been misquoted over and over again. NOT HERE. THIS IS THE BOOK that sets the benchmark of new information about all 1969 autos including the all new 1969 Camaro, Z-28 an SS Camaro. It is filled with pristine pictures and illustrations. It has 41 pages and is broken down into 15 different sections covering many topics including:

Hyundai i30 Review: 1.6 CRDi 110PS Blue Drive (2012)

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

We have the Hyundai i30 Active 1.6 CRDi 110PS Blue Drive in for a week to review and road test. Is the new Hyundai i30 really a match for the VW Golf and Ford Focus? In a way, the latest Hyundais are the tricky ‘second album’; the novelty of the first really appealing offering has to be replaced by something properly credible and with real substance.

Renault Captur concept

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

With Renault's current design strategy being based around life and human emotion, the second installment of the program is the Captur concept. Following on from the DeZir, which played to the feeling of ‘falling in love', the Captur is intended to represent the feeling of exploration. As a result, the Captur is a coupe/off-roader fusion that has clear links with the DeZir concept from which the Captur borrows its DRG; the new face of Renault.

VW Routan minivan to be dropped from lineup

Thu, 28 Mar 2013

Volkswagen will end sales of the Routan minivan, a rebadged Chrysler-built minivan that VW has sold since 2008, the company's top U.S. executive said Wednesday. The Routan will be phased out this year, with most units destined for "internal purposes" such as VW's corporate fleet, said Jonathan Browning, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America.
