This is an origional 1969 Chevrolet Camaro DZ 302 Short block This started to spin a bearing (rod) back in 1969 when the car was near new with less than 6000 miles on it. This comes with 4 NOS boxed connecting rods, The crank has been turned to .010 as was the mains, There are the complete kit to rebuild this. Complete gasket set, standard bore rings, .010 rod & main bearings along with 4 NOS commecting rods. The cam is included also. This is to be picked up in LaCrosse WI or I can deliver to the Iola Car Show next weekend. Also included is the shipping crete the replacement was shipped to the dealer from GM has the correct part number on it. I'm a Ford man & will consider trades for Ford preformance parts. UK Car Sales down 272,000 in 2008

Well, we knew the car industry was in trouble, and that in the last quarter of 2008 car sales fell off a cliff. But it has now been confirmed that overall sales for the UK in 2008 fell by 272,212 units, or 11.3%. December figures alone showed a drop of 21.2% year on year.

SsangYong will show XUV 1 concept at Frankfurt

South Korean automaker SsangYong will have something to brag about at the Frankfurt motor show in September--namely, the new concept XUV 1. The XUV 1 is a small crossover vehicle with a shape similar to that of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. At least that's what we see from teaser photos released on Thursday.
