This is a newly assembled SINGLE black bucket Sport Seat with foam and cover manufactured by TMI. These seats are designed with additional lumbar and side support, as well as side leg support, with a cover to match the 69 Chevelle factory upholstery. You can find plenty of info online about the TMI seats at vendor sites such as OPGI and others.

This seat had the NEW black cover and NEW foam installed over a NEW seat frame and spring assembly. The seat has never been used since it was assembled. Factory tracks and seat plastic will bolt right on for a factory appearance. Note that these seats do NOT have any provisions for a locking seat back. This would be ideal for someone with a drag car who plans on running only one seat but wants a factory look. Again, this is only ONE seat - I don't have a second seat.

Price the cost of a new seat frame, new foam, and half the cost of a pair of covers, then add on the cost of installing by an upholstery shop and you will spend way more than my price listed here. The seat comes exactly as shown in the photos, with no tracks or trim attached. This listing is for the actual ONE single seat in the photos.

Please note that I acquired this seat as part of a package deal with a project car, and I will not be using it. Although it is new and has never been installed, you will find some dust on it from sitting around. You will also notice some very light surface rust on a few of the hog rings, which could have been on the rings before they were installed. There is also a very light scuff, shown in the last two photos where I'm pointing. It might just rub out with some vinyl conditioner. It did not cut or gouge into the material.

I just want to be clear that this is not a perfect, fresh-out-of-the package, untouched seat. It does not have any damage, cuts, heavy scrapes, or any of the sort, but it has been handled and moved around.

Shipping cost listed is for continental US only.

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The Volvo Concept XC Coupe (pictured) will debut at Detroit next month Volvo are heading to the Detroit Auto Show next month with the second of three concepts planned utilising their new scalable platform architecture which will underpin almost all future models – the Volvo Concept XC Coupe. The first of the three new concepts from Volvo came at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September as the Volvo Concept Coupe – a new take on Volvo’s iconic P1800 – but this time we get a concept that points firmly at the new Volvo XC90, due in a year’s time as a 2015 model. We’ve already got some idea of what Volvo’s designers think the new XC90 should look like, but the styling cues on the Concept Coupe – and the teaser photos of the Concept XC Coupe (above) – give us a much clearer view of what Volvo are planning for one of their most successful cars.

The V6 unit was a joint development by PSA and Ford, and produces 241bhp and a hefty 331lb ft of torque between 1600 and 3600rpm.

Sebastian Vettel keeps Infiniti happy

Sebastian Vettel drives an Infiniti G37 on track It must be a dream lifestyle for any 23 year old man. Driving fast cars in glamorous locations, and being paid a shed-load of money to do it. True, the sybaritic and hedonistic lifestyles enjoyed by F1 drivers in the ’60s and ’70s have long gone, to be replaced by workouts, mineral water and early nights.
