This is a special comparison article on these 2 ponycars produced for TRANS AM racing. This article has beautiful pictures of a blue Z/28 witjh w hite stripes and a yellow ‘Cuda hardtop with blacvk side striping. The Z/28 is equipped with the 302 V8 and the ‘Cuda, the 340 V8 engine. The public debut of the new Bentley Continental GT speed saw Bentley’s fastest car hit the Goodwood hillclimb. We’ve just had a reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT Speed – the fastest Bentley in production – and as we predicted Bentley have taken the new GT Speed to Goodwood this weekend. And there’s not a lot of point, when your new car is the fastest you make, having a pretty, static display.

Honda Civic Type R UK sales to cease

The Honda Civic Type R is dead. Or it is at least in Europe, as the high-revving, naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine that powers Honda's hot hatch can't meet forthcoming emissions requirements  That's right – the Civic Type R can’t meet the latest Euro5 emissions regulations that come into force at the end of 2010, meaning in the UK and most other European countries (a tiny handful have Euro5 exemption) the Civic Type R will cease to be. If you live outside Europe then you’re still in luck as the Swindon-built Type R will continue to be sold in markets as far afield as Australia and South Africa.

Official pictures of the MX-5 Superlight Concept have leaked out ahead of Frankfurt We don’t think Mazda are intending building the MX-5 Superlight, it’s more a way of showcasing what can be achieved by radical weight saving. But don’t quote us on that. If Mazda gets big positive feedback they’ll probably turn it in to a production model despite their assertions it’s just a concept.
