What I have here is a
used original gauge cluster & frame assembly correct for ‘69 Chevrolet
A-body: Chevelle SS396 Malibu Super Sport 300 El Camino. Date code January 29, 1969. Note that this includes the optional electric clock and shift indicator for 3-speed automatic transmission. Unit is fully intact as shown with no cracks or physical damage; only some light surface rust on back. Speedometer/odometer work under bench test – clock and gas gauge are untested and not guaranteed to work. Clock turns with adjustment stem; knob is missing. Lens has no cracks but shows a couple light scuff/scratches that may polish out. You may enter your zip code or country into the shipping calculator to find postage costs. It has the same Peugeot wide grill, oversized, in-your-face badge and lights that make the nose of the RCZ look like it’s had a botched rhinoplasty.

Jag has taken the XF saloon and fettled it with the new direct-injection 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine that supersedes the familiar 4.2, but breathed upon by a new supercharger to crank out a wholesome 503bhp.The R model is extremely rapid, thanks to a classic Ayers Rock torque curve that peaks at 461lb ft from just 2000rpm and doesn't go away until 5000rpm. There's brawn wherever you need it, and the XFR scuttles to 60mph in a scant 4.7sec.
McLaren slows MP4-12C production for fixes
Wed, 05 Oct 2011British supercar maker McLaren has slowed production of the MP4-12C because of quality issues. The company says the problems are not safety- or performance-related. "There are no safety concerns for the delay," Tony Joseph, director of McLaren North America, told Autoweek.
