1969 FACTORY CHEVY 427 FACTORY HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD #3947801, NICE. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT ALL 6 PICTURES........

These are used on the factory high performance 427/390 horsepower CORVETTES in 1969 only. These were most notable because it's oval port and accepts the Quadrajet carburetor. If you have a 9029215 carburetor, here's the correct manifold for you. It's an original GM complete with the part number 3947801 as shown. It's been in storage for years and has no major damage, EXCEPT the welded up heater hose connection. This was on a race car and they didn't use a heater.... You'll have to drill and tap this hole. No broken/welded corners or other visible damage. All over, it looks good with no major issues. The heat crossover was filled with silicone, you'll have to remove that if you want to boil the gas in your carburetor.... There is MINIMAL corrosion anywhere on this manifold. One of the cleanest manifolds I have seen in years. Unavailable for love, money, sex, drugs or food stamps! Needs to be cleaned for your show car. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!

CHEAP!!!

Please note, I'm on the road. Will be at Bristol Super Chevy, then fall Carlisle spaces NR27, NR28 and on to Hershey. These items will be with me there. If you want to save shipping, please see me there. Thanks, Bob at seven two 7 415 nine nine three three...

Audi Q7 S Line Sport and Style Editions revealed

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

Audi Q7 S Line Style Edition and S Line Sport Edition revealed The Audi Q7 is rapidly becoming invisible in the premium SUV market as it’s overshadowed by newer offerings from BMW and Mercedes, and from Land Rover too. But we’re expecting an all new Audi Q7 to arrive later in 2014 which, Audi hope, will offer enough to make the Q7 relevant to buyers of big, luxury SUVs once again. But in the meantime, Audi still wants to be shifting Q7s from their showrooms so we get a pair of special edition Q7s – the Q7 S Line Sport Edition and S Line Style Edition – to hopefully add a bit of fizz to Q7 sales.

Fords at SEMA – A Preview

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Ford has the biggest display space of any manufacturer at SEMA – 27,000 square feet – and plans to pack it with every kind of truck, tuner and Transit Connect. Yes, this year at SEMA Ford will have ten customized Transit Connect small business haulers in a celebration it's calling “Vandemonium.” So far we have a picture of just of one of them, the “TC – Pentech,” a Transit Connect with two driving simulators in the back. Info on the other nine hasn't been released yet but suffice to say Vandemonium could make the Transit Connect the PC Cruiser of the new millennium.

Lincoln MKC Revealed. It’s NOT a titivated Ford Kuga/Escape, say Ford

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The production version of the Lincoln MKC Compact SUV (pictured) has been revealed When Ford divested itself of its premier marques – Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover – it left it with little wriggle room to compete in anything but the mainstream car market. Ford in Europe is trying to address that by launching ‘Vignale’ badged cars which promise to offer more ‘Premium quality’ than its mainstream models, and Ford in the US is doing the same thing by trying to reinvent the Lincoln badge as the answer to German premium models. Step forward the new Lincoln MKC, the production version of the Lincoln MKC Concept we saw at the Detroit Auto Show in January..
