1969 CHRYSLER NEWPORT CONVERTIBLE TOP PINCH WELL SURROUND CHROME TRIM MOLDING.

This is a used set of pinch well surround chrome trim molding that was removed from a 1969 Chrysler Newport Convertible. This is the original pinch well trim. It is also called trim molding for the convertible top storage cover lid. This is the reveal molding that surrounds the opening edge where the convertible top meets the body at the rear. One piece is broke most of the way through (please see pictures) and we will include the broken piece free of charge with the purchase of the rest of the trim. The purchaser will need to buy the little tin retainers that the screws go into. It has minor imperfections, scuffs, scratches and pitting. It may have other imperfections as with any very old used trim. This is good for a driver but would need work for a show car. Please consider this before bidding. Please look at the photos to see the item condition, for a better description and to determine if the item will fit your application. TMG Sports 605 concept to debut at Essen Motor Show

While most of us are focusing on the LA Auto Show happening later this week, Toyota Motorsport GmbH is quietly revealing the TMG Sports 650 concept at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. The TMG Sports 650 is a hopped-up, twin-turbocharged V8 version of the normally staid Lexus LS460 sedan. In the concept, power grows from 386 to an impressive 641 hp at 7,450 rpm, while torque jumps to 564 lb-ft.

KTM halts production of the X-Bow two-seater as inventory grows

With sales well below expectations and 80 units reportedly unsold, Austrian motorcycle company KTM has temporarily halted production of the ultralight X-Bow two-seat sports car. KTM officials originally expected sales of 1,000 units a year. But that lofty goal is being scaled back to between 200 and 300 units a year.

Just 10 days after unveiling the new CLS Shooting Brake at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Mercedes' power-crazed AMG division has gone and announced the CLS 63 AMG version. At a stroke, the CLS AMG qualifies joins the world's fastest estate car club. With 518bhp as standard (rising to an optional 549bhp), the Shooting Brake is quicker to 62mph than a Porsche 911 Carrera S.
