Citroen DS 5LS (2014) first official pictures

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 19 December 2013 17:30 The Citroen DS 5LS has been shown in Paris to a group of Chinese media, as the brand pushes its ‘Frenchness’ with a C-segment saloon for the world’s biggest market. The 5LS is the result of Citroen’s splitting of its model line-up into two channels: it’s ‘C’ badged cars for more everyday, price-driven offerings and its more premium, design-centric DS models, which have formed a ‘fully fledged brand’ in China. The 5LS is worth a look for UK enthusiasts as ‘a major driver of the DS’s ongoing international development’.

Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut

The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013. But despite plenty of negatives about the Eterniti Artemis – not least of which are how it looks and how much it costs – Eterniti seem sure they have a market – certainly in Asia – and they’re now showing us what is pretty much the production-ready version of the Artemis (above). Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

But you’re soon going to be a bit more knowledgeable if reports that Renault are about to revive the Gordini name are true. There have been rumours for quite a while that Renault want to use the Gordini name on their ‘Sporty’ cars in the same way that BMW has used the Cooper name on MINIs and Fiat the Abarth name.
