For sale is a VERY extensive lot of original 1969 Owner / Dealership paperwork that would have come with your new Corvette. Some pieces are NOS, some are slightly used, all pieces are in very presentable condition. Included is: 1: 1969 Corvette Owner's Manual - FIRST EDITION, full owner's ID card intact, dated August 1968, part # 3955548 2: 1969 Corvette Owner's Manual - SECOND EDITION, full owner's ID card intact, dated December 1968, part # 3955549 3: 1969 Corvette Owner's Manual bag/sleeve/pouch - Top right corner of flap slightly wrinkled, dated March 19th, 1968, part # 3950779 4: 1969 Guide to the new GM Ignition Lock System - Still glued together to slide over visor in the showroom, dated October 2nd, 1968, part # 3964572 5: Over-Ride Control Instructions - This is a very hard to find tag for 68 Corvettes, not sure about 69s. Definitely won't see one of these often. Part # 3941915 6: GM "Prevent Car Theft" Key Envelope WITH Original key plugs - Evidence of glue marks from when the envelope was orignally sealed (now opened), part # 3958690 7: FM Radio Tag - Located behind tuning knob on delivery, no part number. 8: Headlamp Washer Instruction - Another hard to find piece. Some markings from where glue was pulled off at some point. Part # 3963200 9: Wheel Trim Ring Instruction Sheet - Very nice condition with just a slight crease below the midline. Dated September 23rd, 1966, part # 3913832 10: Chevrolet AM-FM Radio Operating Instructions - Dated November 8th, 1967, part # 7306110 11: Protect-0-Plate Envelope - Has one tear on the folding flap of the envelope and some minor age discoloration 12: NOS 1969 Chevrolet New Vehicle Warranty Protect-O-Plate Manual - Mint condition, No markings of any kind, WITH original specialized GM protect-o-plate tape strip (unused), part # 3955560 13: 1969 Chevrolet Warranty and Owner Responsibilities Manual - near mint condition, dated November 1968 14: 1969 GM "Towing Vehicles" Manual - near mint condition (one sticker mark on front cover), dated September 1968 15: 1968- GM Air Pollution Control Systems Manual - mint condition, part # 3937277 16: 1968 Chevrolet Astro Ventilation Manual - mint condition, dated October 1967. 17: 1969 Chevrolet Pre-Delivery Service and Adjustment Check Sheet - mint condition, dated August 1968 18: 1969 Corvette Sales Brochure - near mint condition, 12 pages Please review the pictures carefully, I have tried to list each item very honestly. Chevy will use World Series to pitch Volt's debut
Fri, 01 Oct 2010Chevrolet will use next month's World Series to launch ads for the debut of the Volt plug-in hybrid sedan, General Motors Co.'s marketing chief Joel Ewanick said. The ads will be part of a broad campaign that Chevrolet will initiate during Major League Baseball's fall classic and run throughout autumn, said Ewanick, who spoke on the sidelines of the Rainbow PUSH auto summit in Detroit. Ewanick declined to give details of the Volt commercials or the broader Chevrolet campaign.
