This from a 1969 4 door New Yorker. It looks like a tail light but it isn't. I guess it goes in between the tails lights. It has two small dings on the top part, see picture, and one of the studs on the back are broke off.. Numbers on the bezel are 46050 30838-F305. The numbers on the other part are SAE R 69 CH CC

In a survey of the country’s van drivers, 11% admitted to using their van as a bedroom for convenience. A further 31% said they used their van as an office, while half of all van drivers take their tea break in their work vehicle.
VW may add small car or SUV to U.S. plant
