This is a real deal Big Block Chevy 390-435 hp 427 ci. engine that was in my 1968 Chevelle SS and it ran great, I pulled it last year because it had a bad lifter ( did not damage camshaft) and I wanted the correct 396 Big block back in my Chevelle. It ran great before pulling it and did not smoke or use oil but I wanted the correct 396 in my Chevelle.

 The 427 had plenty of power and was very reliable, I will include a fresh set of lifters and will crate the engine for transport for the buyer and even drop it off at the Truck Freight dock to save you freight costs. SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE AT BUYERS COST, truck Freight is the only option because of the weight.

Not sure if it is 2 bolt or 4 bolt main because I never dropped the pan and cannot tell by the numbers.

I am no expert but here is what I have decoded:

Back of the Block #3935439  1969 427

Front Pad T120LC   19C019766

T=Tonawanda Plant

12=December

04= 4th day of December

LC= 1969 390 hp TH transmission

19C01966 not sure how to decode this portion ???

Heads:

3872702 Closed chamber heads for 1966 427  date code E 9 6 which should be May 9th 1966

Water Pump looks like a 1969 vintage

I have 100% positive feedback and always give an honest evaluation to the best of my ability so please bid with confidence!
