I have for sale a pair of 1969 seven fin aluminum valve covers. These covers came off of an early date code Z/28 DZ 302 cu. in. engine but this PN VC was also used on 69 Corvette 350/350 engines. GM used the same casting for both left and right hand valve covers and machined a boss to determine which side got the oil filler cap or got the cross flag badge. The part number for the RH and LH is P-3932418-RH C-2. These covers have oil baffles but no drippers. I had them bead blasted and then professionally finished to protect the finish from oil stains and oxidation. They have a new badge, grommets and an original “S” stamped oil filler cap. Their condition is used with a ding or two and a few casting imperfections but nothing that would affect form, fit, or function. Price includes free shipping within the Continental United States. I have these items posted locally and may pull this add from e-Bay at my discretion.

Driven: Honda FRV

The Honda FRV is a misunderstood car. It's a European market orientated compact MPV that unusually has two rows of three seats, a configuration shared only with the earlier Fiat Multipla design. But unlike the bulbous, short, tall and deep-windowed Italian, the Honda shares almost identical dimensions to the five seat Renault Scenic that is the compact MPV market leader (the longer wheel base Scenic and other compact MPVs with three rows of seats to seat seven people is about a foot longer).

Porsche Panamera Turbo S – 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

Porsche has revealed the full details of its new Panamera Turbo S, and it’s a monster. Set to debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show in November, the Panamera Turbo S is no less than 50hp more powerful than the regular Panamera Turbo, and now sprints 0-62mph in less time than an Audi RS6. Or indeed the last generation Porsche 911 GT3.
