This a nos set of rocker panel moldings that have never been installed, although traveled many miles. The guy that I bought these from about 8 years ago, had purchased from a GM dealership in 1988 for his 70 ss, he dragged these around and the car with moving 4 times. This I believe the reason of being out of package and a few areas of being cosmetics.I'll try and describe these as being the best that I can.E-bay's description of new did not describe these because of not being in original package. So hence I listed them as used......

Part # 481539 Rh side> The wrapping was loose basically already off this part. The condition is as follows: Their is a scratch the full length at the rear of the molding from top to bottom. Their is a small area of scratches about 2" long by 1/2" wide. Their is a mounting spacer that goes behind the trim screw that is missing, I took a picture of this. Comes with what appears to be all mounting hardware.

Part# 481540 LH side> The package was not with this part, condition is as follows: GM put a coating on these parts when new, this coating has come off about 12" along the top side about a 1/2", Their is a small blemish the size of a quarter 38" from front, Their is a scratch about 1" towards the rear, comes with what appears to be all mounting hardware.

With all of this said, these are original GM rocker panel moldings, that are getting very hard to find, They could be used as is or like any other trim polished to show finish.

These will be placed in a pvc tube for safe shipping.... Good luck!

Michael Schumacher vs the Nurburgring rollercoaster

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

Michael Schumacher vs the Nurburgring rollercoaster By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 17 July 2009 13:03 Michael Schumacher still holds the Nürburgring GP circuit’s lap record (1:29.468 back in 2004), but he’s never left the startline faster than he did last weekend – when he was strapped into the world’s fastest rollercoaster, subjected to 4.5g at launch and accelerated up to 135mph along 1212m of track. The rollercoaster – originally planned to open in Easter 2009 as part of a €215 million expansion plan – finally got the champers treatment at the German GP, and runs right next to the race track’s start/finish straight before spearing off into a number of tortuous twists and turns. How did the ’Ring people manage to get the former F1 world champ on board?

Ssangyong C200 Hybrid shows at Seoul

Fri, 03 Apr 2009

The Ssangyong C200 Hybrid shows at Seoul Ssangyongs have always been pretty dated lumps. Cheap, true, but not a great deal to recommend them beyond that. But the C200 is a different kettle of fish.

Citroën invites design ideas via Facebook

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

Citroën has launched a Facebook app calling for users to select design features for what it calls a special edition car, the first crowdsourced car in the UK. Rather than the genuinely design-led competitions we've seen recently from Renault (Twizy) and Citroën's own DS3, ‘You Like It, We Make It', offers six configurations such as exterior and interior color scheme, technology options like Bluetooth and SatNav, alloys, and the number of doors the vehicle has. The Citroeën C1 Connexion special edition will be kitted out with the most popular ideas and those participating via the app will be in with a chance of winning the car when it goes on sale later in the year.
