This article, printed on thick high quality paper has beautiful glossy color pictures of the all-new 1970 models and the following years 1971, 1972 , 1973 and 1974. The engineering and styling changes are described, including new government emission and bumper regulations during the 70s. The 2 door and 4 door Continental’s standard equipment, including engines, standard equipemnt and option luixury packages are detailed. There is also 4 pages on the styling development of the Continental, including pictures of prototypes, grilles and headlight treatments. There is interesting commentary on making the Lincoln more ‘Cadillac-like’ and the discontinuation of the front opening rear suicide door on the sedan. New Audi S8 (2012) The fourth and final Audi ‘S’ to be revealed this morning – after the S6, S6 Avant and S7 – is the range-topping 2012 Audi S8. And as befits the top-of-the-range it gets the wick turned up on its new V8 to at least 9 – that’s 520hp. We’re expecting the full ’11′ will only be available on the Bentley version.

Dany Bahar, Lotus boss, suspended from his job Controversial Lotus boss Dany Bahar has been suspended from Lotus pending an enquiry in to his conduct. Since ex-Ferrari man Dany Bahar arrived at Lotus it’s all turned in to a bit of a soap opera. From announcing the creation of six new Lotus cars and plans to turn Lotus in to an East Anglian cross between Ferrari and Aston Martin, to the completely bizarre Lotus PR meltdown rant we saw recently, it’s not been quiet in Hethel since Dany Bahar arrived.

As journalists including AutoWeek's own Michelle Koueiter flog the new 2012 Scion iQ in California, pricing information has made its way back to the Midwest. The Scion iQ will cost $15,995, including destination, when it hits dealerships. The car will be released in four phases, starting with the West Coast in October.
