This gauge cluster is for a 1970 1971 1972 Chevelle SS Monte Carlo El Camino with the U14 gauge option package. These gauges will only work in the SS round dash, not the standard sweep dash. The tachometer is a 5,000 redline tach. Gauges have white lettering making them technically correct for 71-72 models but still will work in a 70. I do not know if these gauges work so I would plan on having them restored and calibrated. Remember, these parts are 45 years old and are not brand new meaning they also have some minor imperfections. Shipping includes insurance to the lower 48 states.

What you see in the pictures is what you get; tach, clock, speedometer, and metal housing.

Getting schooled at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience

Thu, 04 Mar 2010

You don't need snow or ice to enjoy the thrills of sliding an all-wheel-drive car sideways, as evidenced by a day at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience at Infineon Raceway. The class, operated by the instructors of the Jim Russell USA Racing Drivers School, involves time on coned-lined paddock courses and a large skid pad. But the real fun comes when you put what you've learned to good use on one of the country's most fun racetracks, the 2.52-mile 12-turn Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.

Partly inspired by the 1970s BMW art cars of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, French artist Bernar Venet's creation pays tribute to the eggheads responsible for the Veyron's conception, by covering the front panels in mathematical equations relating to the output of the car's enormous engine. It's certainly different to the sort of motoring artist's impressions we usually bring you on CAR Online...

Saab 9-5 at Frankfurt – looks promising

Wed, 16 Sep 2009

The Saab 9-5 revealed at Frankfurt In the flesh the new 9-5 is impresive. Stylish – without being a parody of Saabs gone by – and exuding a feeling of quality and thoughtful design. It’s not cluttered with design whimsies, but a clean and very focused shape shouts ‘Class’.
