1960s 70s AMC MAG HUBCAP 

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  AND SORRY FOR NOT LISTING THE SPECIFIC YEARS.  I RESEARCH AND FIND MOST YEARS BUT DID NOT ON THIS ONE.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THIS IS AN UNRESTORED CAP THAT IS IN GREAT OVERALL CONDITION.  IT SUFFERS FROM TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING A COUPLE LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE AND A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES.   MOST OF THESE ARE NOT VERY NOTICEABLE.   IT ALSO HAS A LITTLE PAINT WEAR.  OVERALL THOUGH, JUST A REALLY GOOD UNRESTORED CAP.

IT'S NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER IT IS A GOOD UNRESTORED EXAMPLE THAT WOULD POLISH UP NICELY IF REQUIRED.  IT IS A HARD CAP TO FIND AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. 

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE IT A 4 MINUS.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.  

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 8 years of selling over a 5000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.
