Here is a used set of 4 Thunderbird hubcaps we recently acquired. I am not sure of the exact correct years that they fit, but I believe it is in the 1970 to 1973 range. They are 15 inch caps as someone has written on the backside. As you can see the plain area has been painted a very pretty copper or bronze color. Of course if your car is not that color you can paint them the color of your car. They are in very good driver condition, but not perfect. There are no big dents on any of them, but all of them have several small dings around the outside edges and one of them has just a tiny bit of light curb rash. The centers look nice with no broken fins, but since the fins are potmetal they do have pitting on them. These are not light, they are very heavy, so the winning bidder pays only $15.00 shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

The new Audi RS7 has been revealed at the Detroit Auto Show complete with the 552bhp 4.0 litre V8 from the new Audi RS6 Avant. With the same 552bhp 4.0 litre V8 the new RS6 Avant gets, the 2013 RS7  has permanent 4WD and can get to 62mph in the same blistering time as the RS6 Avant – 3.9 seconds – and on to a top speed of 155mph. That is unless you specify the Dynamic or Dynamic Plus package and then the RS7 can hit either 174mph or 189mph.

Audi hardwood bicycle

Mon, 04 Apr 2011

Following on from its collaboration with Head for carbon fiber skis, Audi has teamed up with Renovo Hardwood Bicycles to create yet another performance-oriented product. Audi is launching the Duo range of cycles as ‘an embodiment of its core principles of progressive innovation' that aim to blend craftsmanship and styling with performance and technology. As a result, each Duo is built around a monocoque frame that is made from hardwood, which not only increases ride comfort – thanks to the material's ability to absorb shock and vibration – but also serves to reduce weight.
