This is a OEM GM deck lid that came off of a 78 Z28. There is no rot just some surface rust on the bottom near the edges(see pics). It looks like some of the Seem Sealer in the corners will need to be replaced/added. Has the holes on the end for your OEM GM spoiler! It is very solid and very hard to find due to they usually have rot on the bottom section in all the corners. It just needs to be sanded and repainted to the color of your second gen! Porsche uses phone-formatted bar codes to connect with customers

Buyers can scan the square stickers with a properly equipped phone, and the application will take them to dedicated microsites where they can see stats, videos and pictures of the car, along with audio clips of a flat-six engine revving up. Through the microsite, buyers can provide contact info for a follow-up call from Porsche salespeople.
Mystery Porsche prototype destroyed in fire near Stuttgart
Thu, 27 Jun 2013According to the Porsche-lovers at flatsixes.com, an unknown Porsche prototype caught fire after being taken home by an employee earlier this week. It reportedly took 19 firefighters to extinguish the blaze, which occurred in a home garage in Ludwigsburg, Germany (a city located near Porsche's home in Stuttgart). Fortunately, the employee and his wife suffered only minor injuries, but we assume the prototype is a complete loss.
