Dodhy motors warning to buyers
Mon, 04 Nov 2013MORE THAN half of those seeking help for "dodgy deal" second-hand car purchases experience faults with their vehicle within a month of buying it, according to Citizens Advice. Essential repairs include smoke emerging from the engine, corroded brake pipes and snapped clutches. Of the 2,519 complaints to Citizens Advice about used cars in the first two weeks of September, a total of 83% were about faults.

VW showed a ‘Concept’ of the Mk VI Golf GTI at last year’s Paris Motor Show but, as we expected, it wasn’t even thinly disguised – it’s pretty much as shown! And now the SLS is almost at the end of its shelf life. That means the opportunity for a run-out model to cap the SLS range, so Mercedes is launching the Mercedes SLS AMG GT Final Edition – a limited run of 350 cars as a Gullwing or Roadster – which will debut at both the Los Angeles and Tokyo Motor Shows next month.
