I BELIEVE THESE ARE NOS OR AT LEAST LIKE NEW ORIGINAL OLD STOCK. THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE BOXES AND ARE A LITTLE DUSTY. YOU WILL WANT TO DETAIL THEM TO YOUR LIKING TO COMPLETE YOUR RESTORATION. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE EXCHANGED FOR A SET OF BLUE MATS AND THESE BLACK MATS WERE PLACED BACK INTO THE ORIGINAL BOXES. THEY HAVE BEEN STORED AND THE MATS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE MAY BE A COUPLE OF SMALL FACTORY IMPERFECTIONS BUT THIS IS COMMON TO THESE RUBBER MATS.
This is a MAYBE NOS Ford front and rear floor mat set which is correct for all 1970 71 Ford Torino models, maybe later models also. As you can see, they are black with the TORINO logo in the middle. They are in show quality. It is Ford part number D0AZ 6513086 D (Front) and D0AZ 6513106 D (Rear). Both in the original Ford boxes. Please note that this is an original Ford part. If you are interested in it, you might want to make your bid as I have never seen another set this nice for sale and likely will not in the future. These would really make a nice show car stand out! Former VW and Renault designer Markus Haub turns artist with 'Racing Legends' collection
Wed, 15 May 2013Former Volkswagen and Renault designer Markus Haub has merged photography, painting and digital effects to create a 'Racing Legends' series, which focuses on racecars from the 1960s and ‘70s. Haub, a Pforzheim University graduate, who now teaches at the Barcelona campus of the Instituto Europeo di Design school (IED) when not producing his unique artwork, uses software to manipulate his photography which is then printed and made into a collage. He then works into it with paint and other artists' tools, creating what you can see here.
