My BackgroundHi, my name is Mark Sain. I've been a car buff for many years. Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over forty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years!
My family has lived in Florence for 25 years where we have established a good reputation within the community. We own and operate three businesses in Florence, which enables me to devote my 'hobby' time and energy to one of the real passions of my life. For me it has never changed. I grew up around the classic cars of the sixties and my wife jokingly says I have never grown up when it comes to these treasures. Latest industry figures reveal more than 3.1 million petrol and diesel engines were produced at domestic plants in 2007, compared to just over 1.5 million cars. 2015 Hyundai Genesis to be compatible with Google Glass
Fri, 03 Jan 2014It seems that at least one automaker is ready to embrace wearable computer technology before it become as ubiquitous as a cell phone, as Hyundai has just announced that its new 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan will be compatible with Google Glass. The wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display is becoming more and more common, and Hyundai engineers have teamed up with Google to make it interact with the car's Blue Link infotainment system. Users will need to download a Blue Link Glassware app to manage a number of the car's functions, such as remote start, remote locking, and a vehicle finder.
