Here's a very good condition original used 1970-74 era A-body Mopar 4-speed heavy duty clutch / brake pedal assembly, vgc original used. Think this was originally out of a 1971 A-body 340 4-speed. Does have a clutch pedal safety switch on it, that I think was technically used on 1970-72, but take it off and think this pedal assembly is pretty much the same as 1973-74 A-body also. Does come with a nice heavy duty style factory overcenter spring, with pin and surround support brace for this style spring / pin. No damages or modifications to pedals and housing. Pedals swing nice and freely. Nothing corroded, other than some light surface rust on it that would easily blast off, all ready to paint it up to color of your choice. The clutch pedal safety switch has a missing plug and a poor-quality wire lead on it that would need to be replace with a new wire lead and plug to be nice. Rest on switch and rod and mounting bracket all seems pretty good still. Would look nice cleaned up.
Brand:Orig Mopar for 1970-72 A-body, will work 70-74 era Surface Finish:Has surface rust, but no bad corrosion. I'd paint Manufacturer Part Number:Complete assembly here, w-O.C. spring & switch too Warranty:Yes Interchange Part Number:All gd shape, other than no plug on clutch switch Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Other Part Number:Pedals move freely, no damages or alterations Make:Mopar A-body original 4-speed, from a 340 car. Placement on Vehicle:Left, Front

Up for your auction bids is this very good condition original used 1970-72 era Mopar A-body (Dart, Duster, Demon, Scamp) 4-speed clutch and brake pedal assembly.  I believe this originally came off a 1971  Demon (A-body) 4-speed, 340 car.  Comes with a hard to find clutch pedal safety switch (think this was a 1970-72 era item), as well as the rarer heavy-duty- style overcenter spring with retainer pin and surround support bracket for both.   With removal of clutch pedal safety switch, I believe this pedal assembly is technically also correct for 1973-74 A-body 4-speed models as well.  Please make sure this is correct for your A-body Mopar car however, before bidding on it.

Featured Mopar A-body 4-speed clutch / brake pedal assembly has no damage, alterations, or bad wear and tear.  Pedals move freely still.  Nothing stuck or stiff.  Like most, the pedal assembly has a fair amount of surface rust (much of these were just bare metal after all originally, up inside of dash), but with a little blasting, would clean up very nicely, without too much pitting, and with a painting and detailing, should be a great piece!  You might want to put some new bushings in it and  lubricate it well.

The clutch safety switch looks pretty good, other than the plug is broken or cut off, as well as the wiring lead is poor.  I'd solder on a new lead with plug on it to switch if I were restoring this.   Rest of switch, including rod and mounting bracket, seems fine  These clutch safety switches are hard to find anytime, and are a pricier thing when you do, so a nice item to have here included. Rubber pedal pads are there and fair condition, but for a restored interior car, I'd plan on putting some new pads on this. All mounting studs and nuts to firewall and brake master cylinder are good-- other than needing some clean up.

Don't miss this very good original used piece, if your car's is missing, damaged, badly -weathered, or you are perhaps going to be doing a 4-speed manual conversion.  Don't miss this hard to find original heavy duty Mopar piece at my realistic opening bid price.  Put in that good bid today!
