This approx. 5.5" x 5" steel plate attaches to the black plastic switch panel housing with the tabs on the back side of this metal panel, all of which are in nice solid and clean shape (they just get bent over to hold it on). This metal plate has no bad rust or pitting. The top side still has some amber / brown colored old glue that the factory used to attach the woodgrain aluminum face panel onto. Just apply new glue to attach your woodgrain trim panel, and it should work perfect for you. Save good money here over more expensive Taiwan reproductions, that aren't as good as this USA original Mopar one is. Development of the next-generation rotary engine from Mazda Motor Corp., first unveiled three years ago, is making slow progress despite missing emissions targets. A top Mazda powertrain executive said today that the 1.6-liter rotary engine, called the 16X, is about 30 percent more fuel-efficient than the current rotary engine used in the RX-8 sporty car. In fact, the 16X so far performs slightly better than Mazda's standard two-liter gasoline engine, said Mitsuo Hitomi, general manager of the Japanese carmaker's powertrain division.
