But the firm’s stand had something for everyone, with 34 models including the new C3 Picasso, BMW X6-like Hypnos concept and even a hybrid World Rally Championship car.  This was the first car the firm unveiled in Paris and the one it spent most time talking about. It’s a Renault Modus-rivalling baby people carrier which goes on sale early in 2009.

Simply called Abarth 2000 after the displacement of its engine, this red beauty features a sleek wedge silhouette with a roof only 970mm from the ground. The Toyota Prius V - a Prius MPV with more luggage space We knew Toyota were planning on growing the Prius family. We also knew that the next stage of that was going to be an MPV, or at least a more Cossover type of car. We did think it would be the Prius Alpha.
