This front side marker is correct for the driver side on the 1970 AMX and Javelin. It is also used on the 70 Rebel and Rebel Machine. Sidemarker can be used on the opposite passenger side, but the lettering on the amber lens will be upside down. SAE PIA70 AB on the top portion of the amber lens and #1 on the bottom portion of the lens. Part # SF 3615615 AMBER is on the back.
-Chrome is faded on the edges from sun. Sand it down and put some spray chrome on it for a new finish. -Amber lens is in real nice condition. Note: These front and rear 1970 side markers were being reproduced by the original manufacturer over the years but recently they have been discontinued. None of the AMC vendors have them in stock, so we are now back to using originals. Front L3 |

New car emissions lowest ever
Mon, 17 Mar 2014THE AVERAGE CAR in the UK now emits an average of 128.3g/km, the lowest ever and almost 30% less than in 2000. This means the UK has exceeded the target set by the European Union for average CO2 emissions of 130g/km by 2015. The next target is 95g/km that is set for 2020.
Audi S3 Cabriolet for 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Wed, 19 Feb 2014The Audi S3 Cabriolet will make its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The range-topping version of the new A3 Cabriolet uses the same powertrain as the S3 hatchback, Sportback and saloon variants, with a 300hp turbocharged engine driving all four wheels. Audi quotes a 0-62mph time of just 5.4 seconds for the S3 Cabriolet, which will be available to order from April, with the first UK deliveries expected in July.
