This front side marker is correct for the driver side on the 1970 AMX and Javelin.  It is also used on the 70 Rebel and Rebel Machine.   Sidemarker can be used on the opposite passenger  side, but the lettering on the amber lens will be upside down.  SAE PIA70 AB on the top portion of the amber lens and #1 on the bottom portion of the lens. Part # SF 3615615 AMBER is on the back.

-Chrome is faded on the edges from sun.  Sand it down and put some spray chrome on it for a new finish.
-Amber lens is in real nice condition.

Note: These front and rear 1970 side markers were being reproduced by the original manufacturer over the years but recently they have been discontinued.  None of the AMC vendors have them in stock, so we are now back to using originals.

Official: Aston Martin Cygnet axed – fewer than 150 sold

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Sir Stirling Moss was one of fewer than 150 Aston Martin Cygnet buyers Last month we reported that Aston Martin appeared to have axed their take on a supermini – the Aston Martin Cygnet – after just a couple of years. Now that news seems to be official after Reuters spoke to an Aston Martin source who also said the Cygnet sold so poorly that fewer than 150 were sold. That must make the Cygnet one of the poorest performing cars in any company’s sales history, especially as that fewer than 150 total was supposed to be 4,000 a year.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 Roadster arrives

Tue, 28 Sep 2010

Aston Martin Vantage N420 Roadster It was back in June that Aston Martin announced the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420, which is the 4.7 Vantage version of the N400, but this time – as the 4.7 Vantage is quite brisk without fiddling – the Vantage N420 has to make do with the regular model’s 420bhp. When we got the original detail on the Vantage N420 we only got photos of the N420 Coupe, even though Aston Martin made it clear that there would be a roadster too. And here it is in all its glorious Aston Martin Convertible carporn-ness.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 29 May 2014 09:27 Google made a major announcement this week when it confirmed its plans to build its own autonomous car. Co-founder Sergey Brin revealed the project at a conference in California on Wednesday. It might look like an extra from the set of Cars the movie, but you’d better believe it: Google wants to launch a driverless car very much like what you see here.
