1970 AMX and Javelin Clutch and Brake Pedal Assembly - One Year Only Part


- This was removed years ago from a Big Bad Green 1970 AMX but also fits the 1970 Javelin.
- Pedals move freely
- Includes firewall mounting support rods, which are correct for the 1970 model year only.  
- It is missing the pin for the clutch return spring and the rubber bump stop for the clutch arm.   Rubber bumper is available from the AMC vendors/suppliers.
- Bracket for brake light switch is missing.
- Replacement rubber pedal covers are available as reproductions.

Note:  The firewall support rods will be disconnect to keep the shipping box size to a minimum.

GM recalls 15,627 Chevrolet Captiva crossovers

General Motors is recalling 15,627 Chevrolet Captiva crossovers from the 2011-12 model years because the power steering fluid could overheat under certain conditions, leading to an engine compartment fire, the automaker said Wednesday. The recall includes 3,150 vehicles sold to rental car fleets in the United States. No fires have been reported in the United States, where the Captiva is available only for fleet sale.

Kia Sedona suits up for New York auto show

Kia teased its new Sedona minivan on Thursday, a week before it debuts at the New York auto show. We instantly noticed its new sheetmetal duds, which are a long way from the plain-Jane style of the old car. Information is scarce for now, but Kia did say the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) will ride on a new chassis powered by Kia's 3.3-liter direct-injected V6.

Subaru BRZ - First Photo Released We’ve had a raft of images of the Toyota FT-86 in the last week or two, but very little on its Subaru sibling – the Subaru BRZ. But now, with the Tokyo Motor Show and the official debut of the BRZ (and the FT-86) looming, we have the first photo of the Subaru offering in the Toybaru project. Developed by Subaru and Toyota – with, it seems, Subaru doing the oily bits and Toyota the styling – the ‘affordable’ sports car from Japan does seem to be a tempting offering.
