Canadian Owner's Manual (2nd Edition November 1969) which included every motor at this point including the LS6 and LS5 454's. 80 page Canadian Owners Manual is complete with some wear on the covers and only two pages has tire service records written in pen. There were THREE Edition's of these Owners Manuals, the First Edition did not have the full motor line up, This Second Edition is more sought after because of the November 1969 date that covers most built cars and notes LS5 and LS6 motors. The Third Edition was dated May 1970 which is for the later built cars. Interesting how GM Of Canada called the 396 (402) motor a 400 in there Owner's Manual. Also included in this auction is a Canadian Dealer Sales Brochure.

Weather creates travel misery
Tue, 24 Dec 2013BRITAIN’S bleak midwinter continued today with strong winds, floods and fallen trees causing chaos to travellers trying to get away for Christmas. On the roads, many major routes were flooded or blocked by fallen trees, with Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Cornwall among the affected counties. In Dorset fire crews had to rescue 25 people trapped in their cars by flood water, while as many as 100,000 homes across the country were left without power.
‘Big Red London Bus’ returns
Sat, 13 Nov 2010The 21st Century 'Routemaster' Double-Decker Bus will be in service by 2012 I doubt we can speak for everyone who visits London. But from our perspective London is a poorer place now the iconic Routemaster red buses are relegated to the odd heritage route and pay-to-see tourist trip (and we’d have to say the same about Mercedes Taxis – nicer places to be but they don’t look right). What’s needed is a 21st century version of the Routemaster (and the Black Cab – but that’s another story).
Volvo halts production of Electric cars & question EU’s CO2 & EV targets
Thu, 22 Mar 2012The Volvo C30 EV won't be going in to production Volvo has decided it will not put the C30 electric Car in to production and has called on the EU to address CO2 and EV targets. Just as many other car makers are doing, Volvo has had a small fleet of electric test cars plodding round the roads to see what they’re capable of in the real world, in Volvo’s case a fleet of electric C30s. But Volvo has decided that a production version of the C30 EV is a futile project and has revealed they will not be making a production version.
