UP for sale is a 1970 396/402.  I have had this engine for over 10 years and prior to that it spend a couple of decades sitting in a crate in a dry garage.  This is a 350 hp engine and comes as a long block.  It is used and untested.  I don't know much about its history other then the fact it has sat.  This engine utilizes 2 bolt main caps. This engine would be appropriate for a 1970 Chevelle, a Nova, or a Camaro.  If you want the right engine for your car, and a great engine to rebuild that hasn't been molested by wanna be machinists, this is what you need.

The casting numbers are as follows:
Heads:  3964290. Date coded: J 2 9
