This auction is for a correct 1970 Corvette/Camaro small block starter for manual trans cars. The part# is 1108338 and it is dated 0F10 or June 10th, 1970. The unit has the correct 2 hole cast iron factory nose and the correct Delco solonoid # 1114362 also as it is all original, you never usually see them this complete with the numbered original solonoid as well. John Hennessey and his company, Hennessey Performance, brought its tuned-up, 707-hp Cadillac CTS-V wagon--a.k.a., the Hammer Wagon--to the Texas Mile and posted a one-mile speed of 189.7 mph, a new record for the car. And that wasn't even terminal velocity, according to Hennessey.
