Mercedes to make E-Class Coupe Estate?
Wed, 03 Jun 2009The Mercedes ConceptFascination - Could make it in to production as an E-Class Coupe Estate Car makers are searching for every niche they can fill with their cars, particularly at the premium end. Audi and Mercedes are big players (we still think the Mercedes R-Class a niche too far), and BMW play the game too, with cars like the BMW X6M and the new BMW 5 Series GT. A Pagani Zonda R For Sale – Track not included!
Wed, 11 Mar 2009A Pagani Zonda R is up for grabs As we reported recently, Pagani has finally got round to officially launching the Pagani Zonda R, the ultimate performance Zonda (not that there’s anything wrong with the performance on the Zonda S or Zonda F or Zonda Cinque or…), which is a pure, track-only version of Pagani’s stunning supercar. As you would expect, there are only going to be a handful of Zonda Rs made and frankly, unless you have your own track (or own your own country), you’re not going to be able to use it to blat down to the pub on a Sunday lunchtime. But that small detail won’t stop the well-heeled petrol-head from digging deep to buy one.

That optional 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four is generating a lot of buzz; it's expected to help keep the car sporty while cutting down on fuel consumption, and it's going to help the Mustang make headway in overseas markets. Adding a turbo-four to the pony car equation isn't exactly novel: The Blue Oval put a forced-induction motor with the same cylinder count, configuration and displacement in the 1979 Mustang.
