For sale is a pair of fender chrome trim pieces to fit a 1968-72 GTO, Lemans, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, GS, Monte Carlo, or Chevelle. These pieces came off a 1970 Pontiac Lemans . Many parts will fit multiple A-Body GM cars. This pair is very nice. No dents, dings, scratches, or blemishes. I polished these by hand, but they could use another polishing before placing on your car. Auction also includes the rear retainer pieces that bolt to the fender to hold these pieces.Buyer is responsible for independently confirming any physical or technical compatibility issues. New York, California first to get electric Focus

Customers in New York and California will be the first to take delivery of the 2012 Focus EV, according to a message posted on a Focus Forum from Ford marketing. That also explains some new material from the company which says, "2012 Focus electric; coming spring 2012." The Focus will launch in 19 markets, including Chicago, Detroit and Seattle, but it will hit the coasts first. In the www.myfocuselectric.com forum, Ford's electrified-vehicles marketing manager David Finnegan broke the news.

Tesla Model S sedan catches fire in owner's garage

Another Tesla Model S sedan has caught on fire. This time, however, the four-month-old electric vehicle didn't hit road debris; according to Business Insider, the car's owner returned from a drive and parked the car in the garage. Moments later, the smoke detector went off, indicating a fire.

By Ben Oliver Motor Shows 16 September 2009 00:01 Taking the metro to the Frankfurt motor show, I was surrounded by men whose grey suits, lapel badges and reading matter made it obvious they were car company execs heading the same way. In previous years they probably had access to the fleets of chauffeur-driven cars that used to clog the town as they shuttled from airport to exhibition hall to hotel. But Frankfurt, like every other motor show, finds itself in reduced circumstances this year.  The Paris and Frankurt shows alternate, and the comparison with Paris this time last year is instructive.
