Up for your auction bids is this new in the original bag reproduction woodgrain radio faceplate for 1970 GTX or 1970 Coronet R/T. May have also been used on some 1970 Charger models (S.E.?) as well, but don't remember for sure. Please be sure this plate looks correct for your make, model, and year car, before bidding on it.
Featured new reproduction woodgrain radio faceplate was just taken out of the plastic bag for these pictures, to help give you a better idea of what this looks like. There is a part #of 2984697 on the back side of plate (think was on original Mopar plate part #). There is no part # attached to the bag or the parts themselves from the reproducer of these, but they are both new and unused condition. Not sure what company reproduced this, but looks good and authentic for a reproduction, in my opinion. Don't miss this beautiful new piece if your car's is cut, broken, or all scratched up (which most car's plates are from these popular 1970 B-body models with rallye dash). 2015 Audi RS7 facelift revealed
Mon, 02 Jun 20142015 Audi RS7 facelift (pictured) revealed It’s not much more than a year or so since the Audi RS7 was revealed at the Detroit Motor Show, but it’s already getting a bit of a facelift. The changes aren’t enormous, but with the A7 and S7 getting a tweak for 2015 there’s no way Audi could leave the RS7 to struggle on with the ‘old’ look. Changes pretty much mirror those on the A7/S7 with a single frame grill and slightly different front bumper changing the nose (although you’ll probably need them side by side to spot the changes) with standard LED headlights and the option of Audi’s new matrix headlights on offer with darker graphics to set them apart from those of the A7/S7.
Carbon-fiber parts and a software fix help create a lighter, faster Fiat
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Chrysler Group's Mopar parts brand and Italian supplier Magneti Marelli have teamed up on a design exercise based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth that shaved weight and added horsepower. The vehicle, called the Venom, has a number of carbon fiber components -- hood and side mirrors, for example -- that makes it about 200 pounds lighter than the 2,512-pound Abarth. The Venom uses software updates and additional exhaust components to boost the Abarth's standard 160-hp 1.4-liter turbocharged engine's output by as much as 25 percent.
Volvo designer Peter Horbury moves to China's Geely Group
