Includes 36mm Bing carb (for Maico), original points ignition, intake manifold, kicker, & shifter

This is the T274 prefix close-ratio motocross engine

This motor has been sitting inside of a storage shed in Wyoming for 37 years. It is currently STUCK but I have oil in cylinder and hopefully I can loosen it up. Please see photos of top of cylinder for numerical markings there. Transmission seems to shift freely up and down.

Please note the bent (but not broken or cracked ) fins on cylinder and head. No cracks noted in any of the engine cases. Dome of cylinder is very clean with no broken ring marks or damage of any kind.

Use ebay's zoom feature and look at photos closely please.

Shipping is set at $125.00 in lower 48 USA. AK, HI, and international will be higher.

INTERNATIONAL shipping will be a flat $850.00 for UPS to anywhere in the world. Or, if you have a cheaper shipping method already in place then I will gladly accommodate your requests. PLEASE NOTE that if you decide to have these shipped via YOUR method, I will add $50.00 to purchase amount to cover my materials & labor. Everything will be wrapped and boxed in large Rubbermaid/Tupperware style shipping containers.

If you think these shipping prices are high, well, I agree with you. Unfortunately between ebay and paypal combined THEY KEEP ALMOST 15% OF IT FOR THEMSELVES.

Maserati new model rollout confirmed

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

Maserati has revealed its plans for a new model rollout over the next few years as it targets 50,000 annual sales. It seems Fiat’s plans for Maserati, and their aim to sell 50,000 cars a year by 2015, is on target with the latest infographic from Fiat clearly showing which Maserati models are planned. The first car on Maserati’s list is the one we’ve already seen – the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte – which had a reveal recently and will get its public debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month.

What the Future Holds, Nobody Knows

Tue, 22 Dec 2009

It's a testament to the talent, charisma and relative celebrity of Ian Callum, Derek Jenkins and Franz von Holzhausen - heads of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla design, respectively - that they managed to captivate a crowd of industry insiders at the tail end of the Los Angeles Auto Show's second press-preview day. This despite being given a nebulous topic to discuss with a moderator who knew little about the subject. Dan Lyons, a technology columnist at Newsweek, oversaw the panel discussion that was to focus on "Tomorrow's Cars...Practical Transportation or Groundbreaking Design?" He asked only one question on that topic before digressing into a more general discourse on the design strategies of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla.

Fiat's on-again, off-again plan to return Alfa Romeo to the United States is on again, this time with a target date of 2012. A Chrysler Group spokesman has confirmed remarks made by CEO Sergio Marchionne in Toronto. “I'm a lot more confident now that Alfa Romeo will reconstitute a product offering that is acceptable globally, and more in particular in the United States and Canada,” Marchionne was quoted as saying Friday.
