Mazda & Alfa to jointly develop a new roadster Alfa Romeo and Fiat have signed an agreement to build a new new RWD roadster based on the next generation Mazda MX-5 platform. Sergio Marchionne is a big believer that the only way to survive as a mainstream car maker is to be as big as possible and share development costs whenever you can. Jaguar XK leaves the lineup

Production of the Jaguar XK stretched from 1996 with the XK8 and will wrap up as the final 50 limited edition XK models roll off the assembly line this summer. The farewell XKs will be branded as "Final Fifty Limited Edition" cars, and will carry the same specification as the current XKR model, along with some added features that celebrate the history of Jaguar and the evolution of the brand's grand touring coupes and convertibles. Under the hood, a supercharged 510-hp 5.0-liter V8 is capable of bringing the XK to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds according to Jag, and an active exhaust system helps ensure the engine note remains prominent.

Restaurants on wheels have been taking over the eating scene in many major cities, but Oscar Mayer's Wienermobile might be the original "food truck." Now the company is embracing the growing culinary trend with a new version of the iconic vehicle that will dole out hot dogs from its mobile kitchen. The launch of the food truck marks the 75th anniversary of the Wienermobile. Celebrity chef Tyler Florence, host of TV series The Great Food Truck Race, partnered with Oscar Mayer on the unveiling of the vehicle in New York's Times Square this week.
