Myself and a couple of friends are helping a famed Pontiac engine builder (Dan Whitmore) go thru a vast inventory of used engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds etc...that he has acquired while rebuilding engines for the last 40+ years. Most of the items are Pontiac but there is some Chevy and misc. items as well. So keep posted as we will be listing more items over the next several weeks to few months as we are able to sort thru everything. Up for sale pictured with the hanging tag on it is a 1970 Pontiac GTO 455HO engine block. WA code. Has 4 bolt mains. No pistons, crank, rods etc..just the bare block with the main caps. The block is still standard bore and completely rebuildable. No cracks etc...any questions please ask. I might need some time to get your answer as the parts are not at my house and I would have to make a phone call etc...Prefer local pick up but it is possible for us to attach it to a skid and ship it etc...ask for a quote. Sold as is. Please pay with in 5 days of the auction ending. Thanks for looking!

But Land Rover claims to have broken the record for crossing Saudi Arabia's 'Empty Quarter,' starting at Wadi Adda Wasir in Saudi Arabia, and traveling east across the desert to the United Arab Emirates border. The 'Empty Quarter' is known to be one of the harshest and most challenging environments on the planet, and is actually the largest sand desert in the world and the second largest desert overall after the Sahara.
