Carburetor has gone through an extensive restoration process where it is completely disassembled, Media blasted with main body and airhorn chemically dipped and recolored that gives it the factory finish.  It is not a cheap ‘spray on’ finish like some other sellers here on Ebay like to use.  My finish will remain unblemished for years.

The throttle base has new brass bushings to correct any vacuum leaks from the primary shaft, this should be done with every Quadrajet as the primary bores get worn out over time.   These are 40 year old carburetors and need the proper TLC.

The new internal components include:

All top airhorn gasket, base to main body gasket, pump check ball, needle and seat, power valve spring, elastomeric plastic cup resistant to today’s gasoline, pump spring, power valve seal.

New secondary cam is always installed as the original always wears out.

All cast iron components are yellow zinc plated for a much cleaner finish.

Carburetor is a reproduction or re-stamped unit.

Carburetors are ready to run, please ask questions before bidding if you’d like additional information.

I ship via USPS Priority Mail on Saturdays only, please make sure you checkout before Friday.  Thank You.

Video: Violent SRT Viper Cup crash leaves driver unharmed

Mon, 21 May 2012

SRT Viper Cup driver David Pintaric got a little wide in his Viper ACR-X at Road America, and the result was the violent end-over-end tumble you see posted above. The opening-lap crash took place during round three of the SRT Viper Cup and was caused by “driver error.” Pintaric was leading the series in points for the season when the crash took place.

From Hooniverse: Spintires is a Soviet trucker video game

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

If you’ve ever spent an entire workday watching YouTube clips of Soviet-era logging trucks traversing the wilds of Siberia (who hasn’t?), then you’ve no doubt spent even more time cruising Russian classifieds for vehicles with three-letter names ending in AZ. Now, you may not have to import an eight-wheeled Russian monster truck to get an idea of what it might be like to run roughshod over some pristine forest. As our friends at Hooniverse report -- in great detail -- there’s a Kickstarter on and it’s aimed at bringing Spintires into reality.

Exclusive: 2012 Bentley Continental GTC spied – with new V8

Sun, 10 Jul 2011

First photo of a V8 Bentley Continental We had the launch of the new Bentley Continental GT – the 2011 car – back in September at the Paris Motor Show, but we’re still waiting for what will now be the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC – the drop-top Conti. We had a photo of the new GTC – complete with a slightly odd two-tone paint job – drop in last week, and we’d planned to run the story today – it’s a good filler for a Sunday. But it’s turned in to a bit more than that.
