This is a complete bound issue of Automobile Quarterly.  This 1970 issue features the first Pantera built on the cover.  This Pantera is featured in a 6 page article entitled "Showing Soon in Your Neighborhood...'Pantera, Son of Mangusta!'" by Gianni Rogliatti. The review of this car took place in Italy at dawn to insure that few people would actually see the all new DeTomaso creation.  Driving the car on the road was risky as it was the only completed Pantera which was slated to debut at several upcoming car shows.  The article details how the Pantera came about and includes pictures factory photos of the car being built.  In addition to the push button doors the first Pantera included prototype seats.  The last page details the vehicle specifications.  This bound issue is in near mint condition throughout.  Perfect for the Pantera owner and collector. See my eBay store for more Pantera literature.  Payment is expected within 10 days of the close of the auction. We charge actual shipping, are glad to combine shipping on several items or  you would be welcome to pick it up at our shop. Thanks!

Land Rover has revealed a surprisingly comprehensive facelift for the Discovery range here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – and the firm has underlined the changes with some new badging for the Discovery range. Instead of having ‘LAND ROVER’ on the bonnet, the new Discovery has, well, ‘DISCOVERY’ lettering. That’s because Land Rover wants to make Discovery into its own brand, a bit like Range Rover: here at Frankfurt 2013, we’re seeing the first steps in this rebranding.

Hottest 911 ever!

Wed, 05 May 2010

A few weeks back, we revealed spy shots of the next-gen Porsche 911 GT2. But now the Web is awash in reports from a Porsche dealer meeting in Germany where the company revealed the even-hotter GT2 RS. Reportedly pushing 620 hp from its turbocharged boxer-six engine, the track- and street-legal GT2 RS is said to be 200 pounds lighter than the GT2.
