THIS is the book that went to the GM Training Schools and Dealerships for hands-on learning and repairs/adjustments of these carburetors. You will find 24 PAGES of pictures, illustrations and most valued, correct specifications that you will not find in other books. This book is the one that other companies used to get their information from!

No lousy photos or non-legible print as this professional copy has been made from an absolutely pristine, just out of a GM envelope, original document. It is part of a collection from a former General Motors Instructor who was with the Moorestown, NJ School from 1956 to its closure a few years back! He collected items and NOS parts that date back to 1958 thru 1973, some having never been opened! I’m listing the books and parts as I open the boxes and find the time.

You just don’t find a booklet like this at a flea market or auto book sellers because they were not distributed to the public; they went DIRECTLY to the dealers, so add this to your collection; you won’t be disappointed!

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Aston Martin won’t be using ‘Powered by AMG’ badges It was a long time coming, but Aston Martin finally found a way to replace their ageing engines by doing a deal with Mercedes AMG to use their very impressive powerplants. And it seems that, depite AMG’s willingness to provide Aston Martin with modern engines, AML aren’t going to be required to put AMG badges on the bodywork or engines of their very beautiful cars. Speaking to Autocar, Mercedes boss Dieter Zetsche said that Mercedes were very happy to have done a deal with AML and equally as happy to be subtle about the arrangement.
