1970s MOPAR HUBCAPS

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED.   WE JUST NEVER FIND THESE CAPS. THE FIRST WE HAVE FOUND IN MANY YEARS.  SERIOUSLY.  THIS IS IMPORTANT...PLEASE USE THE ZOOM FEATURE ON THE PICS AND READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION. TWO CAPS ARE INCLUDED.  NOTE

ANYWAY, ON TO THE DESCRIPTION. THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD IN APPEARANCE OVERALL.   THERE'S BB TO FINGERPRINT SIZED DINGS AND LIGHTER  SCRATCHES ON EACH ONE. MUCH OF THIS IS AROUND THE OUTER EDGE PROBABLY FROM IMPROPER INSTALLATION.  THE BRUSHED ONE HAS QUITE A BIT ON THE BACKSIDE EDGE.   OBVIOUSLY THERE IS ALSO PAINT WEAR.  COMMON FOR CAPS OF THIS VINTAGE.  ANYWAY, NOT BARRETT JACKSON CAPS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, BUT PRETTY GOOD LOOKING HARD TO FIND CAPS.  LOOK TO MAKE SURE THE CAPS ARE RIGHT FOR YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE BIDDING! PLEASE.   TWO CAPS ARE LISTED HERE .  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I RATE THEM A 3, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS CAREFULLY. 

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

Jaguar C-X16 Driving Video Jaguar is making the most of their new small sports car – the Jaguar C-X16 – as it builds onwards and upwards from the début of the C-X16 at Frankfurt last week to the launch of the production car – probably the Jaguar XE – late in 2012 or early 2013. We had rafts of information and photos – and a short video – when the C-X16 bowed in last week, but now we get a more revealing driving video showing the interior and exterior of the C-X16 in more detail, and some driving footage on incredible roads too. Yes, we were a little underwhelmed by the direction the design of the C-X16 has taken – more conservative than we would have liked to have seen – but we have no issues with the design per se – it’s a stunner.

New 2015 Hyundai i20 PROPERLY revealed – debuts at Paris Motor Show

The new 2015 Hyundai i20 revealed The Hyundai i20 is a decent, if slightly uninspiring, car, but it has shown Hyundai know how to put a car together to target a market dominated by the Ford Fiesta, and the new i20 – which will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October – should see the i20 edging closer to the Fiesta in appeal. Now, following a tease reveal of the new Hyundai i20 using design sketches last week, we get the reveal of the all new, second generation i20 ahead of its public debut. Using Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0′ design language, the new i20 gets looks that are clearly inspired by the new i10 for a more modern look, with a new take on the Hyundai grill and black-c-pillars for a floating roof, making the new i20 look more contemporary, if a little bland.

Baby Rolls-Royce named as Ghost

The announcement was made by Rolls CEO Tom Purves at a press conference held at the Shanghai motor show this morning, and he also teased at other future models that will bear the Ghost name. RR4 was just the codename for the ‘baby’ Rolls, as it was the fourth model in the new-generation of cars under BMW ownership (after the Phantom, Phantom DHC and Phantom Coupe).
