GMC TRUCK HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  FOUR CAPS ARE INCLUDED.  NOTE... ONE OF THESE IS A 4X4 HAVING THE OPEN CENTER.  SO YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO FILL IT OR OPEN THE CENTER OF THE OTHER ONE USING IT AS A TEMPLATE.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS IN FAIRLY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION. THEY ARE NOT SHOW CAPS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.  THEY ARE GOOD CAPS FOR THE OLD VEHICLE MISSING THEM.   THEY SUFFER FROM SOME  TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE MOSTLY AND SOME SCRATCHES ON EACH.   THERE IS ALSO PAINT WEAR.  TWO CAPS ARE A LITTLE CLEANER IN THIS REGARD THAN THE OTHER.  ONE CAP HAS MUCH MORE NOTICEABLE DENTS & SCRATCHES. THE 4X4 CAP IS REALLY GOOD ODDLY.  ANYWAY, THEY ARE NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER THEY ARE GOOD UNRESTORED EXAMPLES THAT WOULD LOOK GOOD SHOWING THE PATINA FOUND IN PARTS OF THIS AGE.  HARD CAPS TO FIND AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED.  COOL WALL ART TOO.  

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE  TWO A 3+, ONE A 3 AND ONE A 3 - . 

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.  

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 6000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.
