Available for immediate purchase is this Caddy used original chrome driver's side door mirror.  I do not know exact applications so please review photos and description closely to be sure it will fit your car.


- Base cast with number 1737; measures 7/8" x 4 1/4" overall with two studs 2 1/2" center-to-center distance apart

- Mirror head measures approximately 4 1/4" tall x 5 1/2 wide x 2 1/2" deep overall

- Overall height, base to top measures approximately 6 3/4"

- Wiring harness with 4) wires and square female gang plug; 1) purple & 1) black wire loose


No physical damage anywhere; chrome all around has no pitting and will polish up to a nice shine.  Glass has no cracks or scratches.  Wiring is all intact; neither heater nor remote have been tested so this is sold as-is.  Mounting studs w/nuts and mounting gasket are intact.

Ex-Morgan Chief Designer forms Matthew Humphries Design

The former chief designer at Morgan, has formed his own design consultancy, Matthew Humphries Design, in a bid to branch out into the worlds of bespoke cars and product design. Humphries will continue his relationship with Morgan in a partnership that will see the newly formed company help to develop future models for the independent British sports car manufacturer. The 28-year-old Coventry University graduate believes he can begin moving into the growing market for integrating automotive design elements into product design – such as furniture – and particularly British-themed products.

Karmann-Ghia launches contest for Brazilian design students

Karmann-Ghia has launched a competition for Brazilian students to design a modern interpretation of its classic Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Coupé. Students will be competing for a top prize of R$100,000 (US$49,750) with the possibility that the winning design will be developed into a prototype. The student awarded second place will earn themselves R$60,000 (US$29,800) while the third placed entry is worth R$14,884 (US$7,350).
